Tasting Notes: Bright and clear with lime, green apple and white peach aromatics. The palate is fresh, precise and dry in style, without the soft-drink sweetness typical of the category, finishing long and clean.
Notes: Vinified from the start for dealcoholization. Extended skin contact before pressing naturally softens acidity and builds mouthfeel; the wine remains on its fine lees until shortly before the alcohol is gently removed by reverse osmosis, so flavor compounds never experience heat.

Winery Story: Quelle is the non-alcoholic wine line from Haus Rothenberg, a new project built on roughly 10 hectares of mature Nahe vineyards acquired from the long-established Sitzius estate. Georg Rumpf (of Weingut Kruger-Rumpf) oversees the vineyards and cellar, and Julia Rumpf leads the project. The philosophy is simple: rather than removing alcohol from a finished wine, they grow and vinify base wines specifically designed for premium dealcoholization, so the wines stay balanced without masking sugar. The alcohol is removed by reverse osmosis, a gentle cold process that preserves aromatics, phenolics, and natural acidity. All vineyards are farmed organically and sustainably, in transition toward certification.
