Alcohol: 14.0 %

Grape(s): Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon

Location: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby with a violet edge. Pleasant, attractive and silky: juicy dark berry fruit — black cherry, plum and blackcurrant — lifted by floral notes and a delicate touch of wood. Medium-bodied on the palate with smooth, velvety tannins, subtle spice and a fresh, graceful finish. An elegant, forward Saint-Émilion built for early pleasure — drinking beautifully now and over the next 3-5 years.

Notes: La Rose de Lisse is the second wine of Château Tour de Pressac, from the estate’s sustainably farmed vineyards on the clay-limestone slopes of Saint-Émilion. The 2023 was hand-harvested into small crates, double-sorted (vibrating table and density sorting), gravity-fed to tank, and macerated 18-23 days with gentle pump-overs; it then aged 14-16 months entirely in tank to keep the fruit pure and floral.

Food Pairing: Excellent with roasted duck, lamb chops, grilled meats, mushroom risotto, and soft-ripened cheeses.

Winery Story: Château Tour de Pressac sits on Saint-Émilion’s historic slopes, where the Fleurystore-family estate applies precise, sustainable viticulture and meticulous hand-work in the cellar. La Rose de Lisse brings the château’s silken, floral house style to an approachable second wine — genuine grand cru pedigree for the weeknight table, imported to the US by Baron François.
