Tasting Notes: Red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate with baking spice, forest floor and a floral top note. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, elegant finish.
Notes: Holstein is the estate vineyard on the eastern flank of the Dundee Hills. The fruit is hand-harvested and fermented with a portion of whole clusters, then aged in French oak to build texture without masking the red-fruit character of the site.
Food Pairing: Roast chicken, duck, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto and soft to aged cheeses.
