The 2014 vintage is noted for concentration, discreet tannins, and good length, with a slightly mineral finish and a hint of reduction in some notes.
Notes: The Les Ruchots parcel sits beneath Clos de Tart on limestone soils with rocks, marls, red silts, and gravel, at about 260 m elevation. Domaine Amiot et Fils says the vineyard is around 0.5297 hectare and the cuvée is typically aged in oak barrels, with about one-third new oak for this appellation. The domaine also describes the wine as suitable for drinking from about 7 years onward, with 10 to 20 years of potential depending on the vintage.
