Alcohol: 14.5 %

Grape(s): 30% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Merlot, 20% Carignan

Location: Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape, Southern Rhône, France

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby with garnet edges. Aromas of ripe black cherry, blackcurrant and plum layered with Provençal garrigue, leather, black pepper and a hint of cured meat. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, showing lush dark fruit, savory spice, fine, grippy tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Notes: “Plan Pégau” Lot 20–21–22 denotes a selection of parcels/blends from specific plots or cooperage lots to achieve balance and complexity. Traditional fermentation with extended maceration and aging in large oak casks/foudres preserves primary fruit while adding structure. Suitable for medium- to long-term aging.

Food Pairing: Roast lamb, beef daube, game stews, braised short ribs, and mature hard cheeses.

Winery Story: Domaine/Château Pégau is a respected Rhône estate known for low-yield, old-vine fruit and hands-on, traditional winemaking that emphasizes terroir expression, power and longevity typical of Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape.
