Alcohol: 13.5%
Grape(s): 100% Garnacha (old-vine)
Location: IGP 3 Riberas, Navarra, Spain (Yerri Valley, foothills of the Pyrenees)
Tasting Notes: Bright cherry-red with violet flashes. Expressive aromas of wild strawberry, red plum, and rose petal mingle with hints of white pepper and mountain herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, driven by juicy red fruit, lively acidity, and fine, chalk-tinged tannins. Finishes fresh, floral, and delicately spicy.
Notes: “Tandem Inmune” Garnacha is sourced from 30- to 45-year-old bush vines planted at 600–750 m on limestone scree. Fermented with native yeasts in concrete vats; no oak, minimal sulfur, vegan-friendly. The name “Inmune” reflects the wine’s pure, unadulterated character—nothing added, nothing taken away.
Food Pairing: Excellent with charcuterie, grilled vegetables, paella, roast chicken, tapas, and semi-cured cheeses like Idiazábal or Manchego.
Winery Story: Founded in 2003 by winemaker Alicia Eyaralar and vineyard specialist José María Fraile, Bodegas Tandem sits in the cool Yerri Valley of northern Navarra. The gravity-flow winery is partly built into the hillside, enabling natural temperature control and gentle handling. Certified sustainable and committed to low-intervention practices, Tandem crafts elegant, Atlantic-influenced wines that highlight high-altitude vineyards and the distinctive limestone soils of the foothills.
