Tasting Notes: Straw-yellow color with green touches, very bright. Forward nose, intensely fruited: floral base with citrus overtones. On the palate structured, with balanced acidity, and flavourful.
Notes: In 1941, Modesto Alvarez Romero and Eladio Díez Ossorio founded Alvarez y Díez, S.A. The winery still carries their name today. Family-run for four generations, it built modern facilities in 1977 to make quality wines from the native Verdejo variety, with full character and personality.
Food Pairing: Excellent as an aperitif and to accompany salads, vegetables, fresh and spread cheese, fish, seafood, and rice dishes.
Winery Story: Alvarez y Díez is a small, family-owned winery in Rueda now run by the third and fourth generations, exporting to more than 15 countries while keeping the founders' name and philosophy at its core.
