Winery Story: Abbazia di Novacella is an Augustinian monastery founded in 1142 near Bressanone in the Valle Isarco, one of Italy's northernmost wine regions. Its estate vineyards sit between roughly 1,970 and 2,950 feet in the Alps, producing mineral-driven, precise wines that have made it one of Alto Adige's most respected producers.
