Alcohol: 12 %
Grape(s): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
Location: Champagne AOC, Champagne, France
Tasting Notes: Pale gold with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose shows white flowers, lemon, ripe pear and a hint of brioche. The palate is creamy and fresh, with citrus, white cherry and toasted notes, finishing long, crisp and mineral.
Notes: Deutz's signature non-vintage blend, built around Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from the Champagne region's best crus. A large share of aged reserve wines adds depth and consistency, and the cuvee rests on its lees for several years before release.
Food Pairing: Oysters, smoked salmon, fried chicken, soft bloomy cheeses such as Brie, or on its own as an aperitif.
Winery Story: Founded in 1838 in Ay by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, Champagne Deutz is one of the region's historic houses. It is known for its elegant, precise style and has been family-run under the Rouzaud family and now Louis Roederer ownership while keeping its own identity.
