Alcohol: 12%
Grape(s): 80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir
Location: Champagne, France
Tasting Notes: Slightly ruby in hue with powdery reflections and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is floral and inviting, opening on cherry blossom before showing wild strawberry and raspberry. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with redcurrant and raspberry-sorbet notes, a delicate mousse, and a long, appetizing finish marked by citrus peel, blood orange, and mandarin bitters.
Notes: This extra brut rosé is based on 45% of the 2019 harvest and 55% reserve wines, some aged in corked magnums. A.R. Lenoble blends Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs with a proportion of Pinot Noir, part of which is vinified as red wine for color and structure. The cuvée is aged in tanks, wooden vats, and a small share in magnums under cork, with an average maturation time of around 60 months and a dosage of 3 g/L.
Food Pairing: Fine tomato tart, salmon rillettes, duck breast with roasted figs, beef carpaccio with capers and aged Parmesan, blueberry tart, or a raspberry-coulis macaron. Serve at 10–12 °C in a white wine glass.
Winery Story:A.R. Lenoble is a family Champagne house known for Chardonnay-led cuvées that emphasize freshness, precision, and low dosage. Rosé V.19 reflects the house style through a blend of Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with reserve wines and long lees aging contributing finesse, texture, and aromatic depth.
