Winery Story: The Barkan winery is a staple of Israeli winemaking, having been making wine for over 25 years. Barkan is now one of the largest wineries in Israel, producing over 1 million bottles per year across all their wines. The current winery was built in 2000 and with it was built a massive visitor center that rests a half hour from both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The winery itself is equipped with the latest technology and industry advancements, as it is home to all the laboratories, visitor center, production site, marketing center, and logistics center.
