Tasting Notes: Restrained in alcohol, tannin and oak, with Bing cherry, blackberry and black pepper on the nose, savory notes of olive and roasted meat, and a fresh, medium-bodied palate that finishes clean.

Notes: Lower East is Gramercy's value line, named for the lower east corner of Washington State where Walla Walla sits. It was created as a thank you to customers and friends, with the goal of making a fantastic Syrah at a fair price.

Food Pairing: Grilled lamb, charcuterie, roast chicken, burgers, hard aged cheeses and mushroom dishes.

Winery Story: Master Sommelier Greg Harrington founded Gramercy Cellars in Walla Walla in 2005. The winery is known for restrained, savory, terroir-driven Washington reds made with minimal oak and a focus on balance.
