Winery Story: Carlos Gómez established Adegas Valmiñor in 1997, building and opening new facilities in 2001. A trained executive with extensive experience in the wine business, Carlos has continued to expand the group's capacity to include other properties in Rías Baixas & Ribera del Cuero. Today the group also includes a distribution company, as well as an agricultural services organization.

Though a modern winery with cutting-edge technology, they are dedicated to honoring their Celtic roots, witnessed in their logo, created out of four Celtic symbols - rain, sun, air, and land.

Adegas Valmiñor is located in the Valley O Rosal within the D.O. Rías Baixas. Rias Baixas is in the province of Pontevedra, south of the province of A Coruña, in Galicia, Spain. The Rías Baixas D.O., founded in 1980, is divided into five sub-zones, four in the province of Pontevedra and one in A Coruña:
