Arrowine is both an Importer and Retailor of Fine Wines and earned a worldwide reputation for ferreting out the next great winegrower. We are one of the few retailers in the U.S. that work closely with the people who actually farm, vinify and bottle the wines we represent. We are their ambassadors, their trusted friends, and are here to guide and assist you in any way possible.

Our selections represent the very best of a type. Wine critics and specialty food industry journalists, and most importantly to us, our clients consistently recognize our work with high scores and countless "Best Of." We believe you deserve only the best products and services, and we strive to make each visit with us exceptional.

Whether it is a wine, artisan cheese, charcuterie, craft beer, or gourmet grocery, our criteria are simple: Is it the best available, be soulful in that reflects a sense of place, and upon enjoying it, feel the passion of the maker?

We regularly travel to producers to ensure we get the best products available; we never take the word of others; they take ours. We are your trusted source for the finest artisan wines, cheeses, charcuterie, craft beer, and gourmet groceries. As experts, we regularly hold education tastings to educate our clientele and allow you to try before you buy.

Our Decades of Experience

Arrowine is the culmination of four generations of retailing experience and embodiment of the American Dream. We are deeply passionate about the products we sell, the people who made them, and our clients who trust us. Our president, Doug Rosen, has worked with fine wines since 1976. In many cases, he worked with several generations of growers and producers.

We are professional pleasure seekers, winos, foodies, and party people. Unlike other wine merchants, we will tell clients to slow down and stagger their purchases to have continuous enjoyment without concern about wines getting tired or if their taste changes. So we look out for you!

We think long-term. We aren't selling washing machines or cars. We aren't closers or salesman. We take pride in receiving the sincere gratitude of clients who have recently enjoyed wines that are now mature after 15 plus years of patiently aging in their cellar or a newly purchased wine enjoyed over the weekend.

We are proud of what we do and how we do it. And proud to serve our community and be part of what makes Arlington and the surrounding metro area a great place to live. We love Northern Virginia and have been proud members of this community for 50 years.

We kept serving our community despite the challenges of COVID 19 by pivoting to online sales and curbside delivery almost overnight. We worked feverishly assembling orders for fourteen months, turning them around in less than two hours and safely delivering them to your car. Our doors were closed, but our hearts were open and ready to serve.

We kept our staff working, paying their bills, and kept them and their families safe. Our team had not one instance of COVID19. We were proud to be voted "Best Curbside Delivery" by the readers of Arlington Magazine.
