As an only child, she inherited all of her father’s three hectares of prime Côte d’Or vineyard land around Vosne-Romanée at the age of 22. Drove by her passion for wine she stopped her Art studies to follow enology courses in Beaune and Dijon she also broadened her views and her winemaking knowledge by working in Australia, at Rosemount estate. Her 90 years old vines of Clos de Vougeot are located in the Grand Maupertuis part of the Clos (for many considered to be the best terroir in the Clos, just next door to the Echezeaux). Even her village vineyards are rivaling with premier Crus.
