Aromatics of cherry, wild strawberry and a touch of forest floor; on the palate, juicy red fruit with a firm, stony backbone, fine-grained tannins, and a fresh, mineral-driven finish that is classic Mercurey — the Côte Chalonnaise’s answer to village Burgundy at its most honest.

Notes: 100% Pinot Noir from the Les Vaux lieu-dit’s clay-limestone soils above the village of Mercurey. Traditional vinification with a proportion of whole cluster, maturation in French oak barrels, bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Food Pairing: Roast chicken, duck, grilled pork chops, coq au vin, and soft-ripened cheeses.

Winery Story: Philippe Milan et Fils is a family domaine in the heart of Mercurey, the Côte Chalonnaise’s leading red-wine village.
