Prior to then, all the wine used to be sold in bulk. The estate vineyards are located in Maumusson in the appellation of Madiran in the Southwest of France. Soils of chalky clay are planted with 70% Tannat, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc vines which average 40 years of age. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Reflet du Terroir is a blend of 70% Tannat with 15% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. All grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is fermented on the skins for 20 days during which the tanks are drained twice and returned on top of the cap.
