Made from thermalized milk, the cheese is dense and smooth without any holes or cracks. The repeated brine washing and extended ageing reveal a great depth of flavor and texture, unlike any Swiss cheese. Its initial aroma and flavor is a lovely concoction of roasted peanuts, melted leeks, brown butter, sweet cream and caramel. Made by cheesemaker Walter Rass, the lingering silky, salty finish of Challerhocker makes it an ideal cheese for the winter months. The cheese pairs ideally with a glass of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cider.

Thermized Cows Milk - Product of Switzerland

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0149/9247/4212/products/17dea9ecfcf9cdf31ba7941e708717a07c5a35ee.jpg?v=1775324926
montgomeryscheddar-nealsyarddairy
Montgomery's Cheddar - Neals Yard Dairy *HALF POUND*

Available in half pound increments

Montgomery's Cheddar is one of the few truly traditional, handmade, unpasteurized types of Cheddar produced by James Montgomery in Somerset, England.
